€16m SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) investment at Quinn Cement Ballyconnell In Serious TROUBLE.

News is reaching us that the SRF project is in serious trouble at Quinn Cement. The so called £16 million investment has run out of funds. Tempers were flying this morning.

Looks like money is not that easy to find and selling a few dumper trucks will not make much difference on a project that size and we are told more are on the move.

Will it now be a botched job and pollute the whole of Ballyconnell and surrounding area?

We are also hearing they have no place to put raw material.

Walk ways and different plant on site but no money to install.

Where does that leaves the completion date for the SRF project  is anyone's guess?

So much for the highly paid project manager.
