When I think of the word Thug, I immediately think of a large built man , with a very tight haircut and they would always have a black eye . 

So to see POB swanning about the office last week ( on his very, very rare visits ) with a black eye , fulfilled all my visions and images of a thug. 

To those reading this site, who are not employed in Quinn's/ Aventas, let me share a few facts. Paul O Brien was the man parachuted into Quinn Group by the Bankrupt Anglo and faceless American Bondholders To oust Sean Quinn and all other Directors. 

He was supposed to run the business's , protect the jobs and employees, and support the local community and Economy. He failed on every single objective. 

He alienated thousands of staff and locals, by treating Quinn and Quinn's management like shit, he sacked many loyal staff , then denied he had let anyone go by replacing them with his friends and family.

 He took a million pound salary as a reward for destroying a company. He sold over a hundred items of machinery to get money to pay costs thus depriving the factories of vital machinery. 

Bar the staff he chose ( some would say to bribe ) by increasing their wages and giving perks like company cars, he was never available to staff ( he is too big and important to meet the minions ) Quinn's door was always open to meet with lorry drivers, receptionists , managers, suppliers, customers , locals anyone who wanted to meet him that had a problem with work or in relation to his business's . 

He may have been a billionaire, but he never behaved like one and he certainly never gave the impression he thought himself better than anyone else. Unlike the mighty important O'Brien
