We are told all he time that Government will not get involved while any legal case is before the courts. Now we hear from Mr Hayes and Mr Gilmore directly that they are working behinds the scenes to get back Quinn assets in the Ukraine. So much for their lies. Now what else could they be up-to?
The heat must have caught up with the Government over the weekend as they have come out with all guns blazing trying once again to bluff the people that they are saving the poor taxpayers.
It's very strange that in the heat of battle two former directors of Anglo are brought before the courts. Why not Sean Fitzpatrick or Drumm? They know too much and it's very doubtful they will ever touch them as it will bring down the Government unless they can make a deal behind the scene and present us with a whitewashed story. All they are trying to do is divert the flack away from the Quinn story which has gone badly for them since the weekend. It was a big mistake by Anglo to get the judge to jail Sean Quinn Jr.
They are jumping up and down over outrageous contempt "love how they find these fancy names" when the these two young guys should never have been there in that court in the first place.
Until Anglo can prove they are the lawful owners of these assets, they should not be allowed to bring any court case or have made Sean Quinn bankrupt.
Then we hear we must respect the law of the land. Hitler made a rule that anyone who knew where Jews were hiding had to report them to the authorities.
Was that a good rule? People did obey it and after the war they were hanged for their crimes against humanity.
When a rotten bank can tell a Judge what sentence to impose that's the time to say enough is enough "the law of the land is undermined". No justice in Ireland for the Quinn's
