Paul O'Brien Goes Back To School

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cthzoSuFV1I&list=PL5jtiLJj9pkIFBLSq5Ip6tZ2DJKccYFVV&index=14

Nice to see Paul back at school preparing for his next job after failing miserably in his role as CEO of Quinn Group. Listen carefully as he talks about having a good debate. Paul only idea of a good debate are fists flying, bad language and banging tables and if you disagree with him you get sacked, so hopefully after this important course he will learn to calm down a little.
He also mentions how it's good to  get away from the office which is very true for Paul  as he only shows up in Derrylin at Quinn HQ  once in a while.
I am sure as he arrives near Quinn Group he keeps asking himself  "how the hell did I end up here" with the huge posters which he cannot ignore unless he closes his eyes welcoming him on his final leg of his journey all still supporting Sean Quinn.
Paul's course programme was divided into five 2-day modules held over five months. Each month, participants such as Paul came together for two days to attend interactive sessions with expert, internationally-experienced faculty.
(Wait for it it gets better)
This was a unique opportunity for Paul to discuss issues and trends that are directly relevant to leading and finding solutions for The Quinn Group in these testing times. Each 2-day module  included an evening dinner on the first day with a guest speaker. (They should have invited Sean Quinn he would teach them professors from Harvard University how to run a company)
(Now off to the Sun) The May module was held at the  San Telmo International Institute in Seville, Spain.
The February, March, April and June modules of the Advanced Leadership Programme took place in Carton House Hotel.
Now the nice part. The fee for the February – June programme is €10,500. The fee included tuition, all learning materials, all meals and hotel accommodation costs in Carton House Hotel and in Seville.
It did  not include flights or travel expenses incurred in traveling to Seville.
While the staff of Quinn Group live under a reign of intimidation and treats Paul O'Brien is living the high life as all fees and expenses were paid by the Quinn Group.
So now you know some of what is going on and while buildings are falling down and other serious issues are happening which we will inform you later about  no shortage of money for the elite management of Quinn Group.

One can only hope that this course taught him something about running a large group, such as Quinn group, successfully.
He doesn't seem to have been doing too well with it, to date. At that incredible course rate, surely he learned something. Who paid for this 'course'? It's great to see he's getting all he can out of the group while he's there..
What a waste of money!!

Wow! This is the man who refuses to engage with the workers who built up and contributed to the success of the Quinn Group, who recently refused to confirm or deny that the haulage was being subbed out. And to think that the company which is now on its knees paid for this junket while the loyal employees live in fear of being sacked or let go like so many of their colleagues.

Is this the same Paul O Brien who graces the offices and factories he's supposed to be running, with his presence around once a week....if that?
What a joke.
Who on earth paid for this course, and why was it necessary? I can't imagine that Mr Quinn did many courses like this, as he was too busy running his company.
It's really turned into a farcial situation, when resources in the quarries are at an all-time low and Mr. O Brien feels himself precious enough to take part in an course costing almost 12grand!!

Wow! Paul O'Brien has made a mess of centralizing a sales office - girls crying & off work because of pressure. Some sales deliveries have now a lead time of SIX WEEKS, instead of the 24 hours when Sean Quinn was in charge (where, may I add, the amount of orders were DOUBLE..) Need I go on? And I now am after watching his self congratulatory video Paul O'Brien. Wise up Mr O'Brien, run the company (Sean Quinn's company and stop spending outrageous amounts of money on courses
