Michael Noonan,

Minister for Finance,

A Chara,

Since IBRC is charged by the State with recouping as much money as possible, are they not accountable to the State and are you even aware of what they are doing?

The fact that litigation is ongoing is absolutely no defence for refusing to answer legitimate questions by concerned citizens, the most important being;

HOW MUCH HAS BEEN RECOUPED TO DATE IN THE ANGLO STRATEGY ON QUINN, HOW MUCH IS EXPECTED TO BE RECOUPED, HOW MUCH TAXPAYERS MONEY HAS BEEN SPENT ON ANGLO PR, LEGAL COSTS AND ALL OTHER COSTS INVLOVED IN THE STRATEGY AND CRUCIALLY, HOW DOES THIS COMPARE WITH THE 2.8 BILLION THAT WAS ON OFFER FROM QUINN FOR OVER ONE YEAR?

You and your Government colleagues were elected on the absolute commitment to transparency, accountabillity and fairness. If CIC do not recieve a full and detailed answer by return rather than the waffle that we have been getting, CIC now commit to exposing your lies at the highest level not just in Ireland but on the European stage.

Patricia Gilheany,

Secretary,

Concerned Irish Citizens.
