He will claim there was a policy of "de-Quinning" the insurance company after it was taken into administration in 2010 with the result that several of the children of Mr Quinn Snr were ousted from the firm founded by their father.
Mr Quinn Jnr was director of claims at Quinn Insurance.
A Quinn family source said a tape, purporting to be of joint administrator Michael McAteer addressing staff at the insurer, will be central to the case and it is envisaged that Mr McAteer will be called to give evidence before the tribunal.
Sinn Fein TD Caoimhghin O Caolain raised the issue of the tape in the Dail previously and read what he said were extracts from it into the Dail record.
The recording is alleged to include Mr McAteer saying: "Let me be. . . categoric: the Quinn family are gone.
"They will never have an involvement whatsoever in this insurance company ever, ever again. . .
"We can't put that in an email. I can't put it in writing but that's what's going on."
It is understood that the comments were made on a call with Quinn Insurance employee representatives in December 2010.
His case opens next Friday. Mr Quinn Jnr is not expected to give evidence himself on that day, but he will give testimony at a later date.
The High Court appointed Mr McAteer and Paul McCann of Grant Thornton as joint administrators in March 2010.
The administrators have previously condemned what they called "unauthorised recording" and said its leaking was designed to distract from the sale of the business – which was bought by Liberty Mutual in 2011.
