Quinn Glass Renaming Delayed Due To Serious Construction Accident In UK

Many  would have noticed the build up of police in the area in the last few days. Quinn Glass were to announce this morning a renaming of the company. Quinn Glass is now a brand name  in the UK and Ireland and once again we see efforts to destroy a great company founded  with the great vision of Sean Quinn. Sean took farmers sons out of the fields and got them trained up to make glass which is a difficult task and setup  a state of the art factory in Derrylin.  Other glass companies laughed at him but he turned the side of  a mountain  into  one of the most modern glass factories in the world.

Sadly the men he helped and had trained in glass production  turned their back on him and now want to steal his glass factory as well. Nothing worse when your neighbours steal from you.

The so called renaming was postponed due to a serious accident on a construction site in the UK when two prestress slabs  gave way and crashed down  two story's on a building site with two workmen seriously injured.
The cause of the problem seems to  do with design  issues and this is understandable due to the lack of expertise in all  divisions since the hostile take over. The metal frames attached to the slab gave way  due to not having the proper steel fitted  to the unit.Basically lack of experience in supplying a construction product which could have got someone killed.

This morning at three o'clock three employees from Quinn Group headed for the airport to England to investigate the cause of the accident.

This will cost the company a small fortune as the Health and Safety in the UK will more than likely  press charges against them. We wish the two injured workers well and a speedy recovery who are very lucky to be alive. Another damning   indictment  against a company who care little about health and safety which we mentioned before when they ignored the roof in New Cement.

Next week we also hear they have a huge stone crusher ready for sale costing well over £200,000. They have to sell as they have no other money coming in to pay the bills.
