DO WE, (WORKERS AND COMMUNITY TOGETHER) HAVE THE COURAGE TO SAVE OUR GREATEST ASSET,OR ARE WE GOING TO LET IT SLIP AWAY?

At last, the tables are turning.

It defies belief how officials in the Dept of Finance and the Central Bank can misuse more taxpayers money trying to defend the indefensible, when everything in the Quinn's statement of claim is fact.

It is staggering to think that the Quinn family offered to pay the State 2.8 billion but that offer was thrown in their face by the same officials along with the "knight in shining armour" Matthew Elderfield, (who has consistently refused to produce a copy of the legal/professional advice that he presumably relied upon to put Quinn Insurance into administration, based on what has been confirmed as his erroneous interpretation of alleged cross guarantees).

Those same officials, who never created a job in their lives, and are all handsomely remunerated from the public purse, thought that by burying the Quinn family, that they would not have the resources to sue the State, and expose how illegality on such a massive scale, was covered up by agents of the State.

They were wrong. The Quinn family are still standing and will fight this grave injustice to the bitter end.

Let us all in these disadvantaged border counties, and particularly those employed in the company that Sean Quinn sweated blood and tears for, take example from a family who have been the most tortured and vilified family in this shameful episode of our history.

Let us hope that we all exhibit a fraction of the courage, stamina and determination that this unique family have displayed in the face of such adversity.

Let us ensure that the wilful destruction of the company that Sean Quinn created and built over four decades for all of us, is brought to an end NOW.

No doubt, the Quinn family will get justice in the end and they deserve every cent and more of what is claimed, (how could one put a price on the personal toll), but by then it will be too late for the Quinn Group.

We owe it to ourselves, our children an our children's children, and to the man who made it all possible, to play our part. It is absolutely futile to claim on the one hand to support Sean Quinn and his family and on the other, sit on the fence and do nothing to end the destruction of our greatest asset.

Those who leave it all to QBRC, or who are misguided in thinking that the Quinn family can save the company, are living either in cloud cuckoo land or on a very selfish planet.

Yes, the Quinn family will win in the end but will we? Are we willing to play our part or are we going to let it all slip away. The choice is ours, YOURS AND MINE..............
