ADIEU, ADIEU, I LOVE to say Goodbye! Not so Paul!
Poor Paul O Brien appears heartbroken to be leaving CIS behind; he has been in the locality more often last week than any other week in months. Why? We wonder!
Of course he had to entertain his friends in the Slieve Russell for the last time on Bondholders' money; all his expenses result in less interest being paid to the bondholders,(as he made no profits) so the bondholders indirectly pay for all his wastage, extravagance and destruction. I doubt they realise the full extent of his duplicity yet.
For a man whose time in the border counties was so loathed it is hard to believe he had not the common sense to leave with some grace at the earliest opportunity but he decided to prolong the agony for everyone, coming up with all sorts of excuses to delay the final agreement. He had to get thousands of documents shredded, hard drives taken out of computers, evidence of his mismanagement destroyed. He twisted and turned dragging it out until Christmas and his friends would be paid until the official holidays so it was partly about money too! Greed is a terrible affliction and it was not experienced in the Quinn Group in the past.
He should be gone from Quinn offices. His reluctance to leave is mind boggling! Is he waiting to meet Sean Quinn? Is he hoping for confrontation? Does he want another look at the red chair? He would love to have a story for the press but people hope that Sean Quinn will never have to meet the man who worked in his company, betrayed him and then destroyed his companies. Quinn was always straight talking but would never lower himself to O Brien's level - shouting across restaurants, making scenes and acting like a fool!
Good Luck to QBRC and Good Riddance, Paul. The full extent of the damage you caused has yet to be realised.
We need Sean Quinn back ASAP to rebuild his companies. and maintain the jobs.
