The stakes are high for all concerned, including the Irish Government. The collapse of Anglo -- and the role, if any, of politicians and regulators -- could finally be laid bare in the court action.

If the Quinns are right and win their case in Dublin, the IBRC had no right to appoint a share receiver and take control over the Quinn Group, including its international property portfolio.

Anglo / Civil service / Government control the media, by controlling what is published you dictate the course of history.. Ask any German who blindly followed the Nazi party in the 1940s
Naming Dara O Reilly and Liam McCaffrey to claim indemnity against them is only trying to scare them into turning away from Quinn.
Anglo appear to be as much as admitting that they have got it wrong, however the argument that the cost of them being wrong is so expensive that justice on this occasion should be shelved

And this sums up the entire farce. What was the rush to seize the Quinn Group?

Oh yes, of course greed and other despicable agendas by Anglo and Co. was the motive.

They seized Quinn Insurance and then gave it away for one euro. The seized the Quinn Group and now claim it is worthless-it shortly will be under their regime.

The only question now remaining is who will play the role of our hero, Sean Quinn in the film that will be shown in every corner of the world when the thugs that robbed the companies of the greatest entrepreneur Europe has ever produced, are outed.

Good God, the consequences for the State will be unprecedented when you also take into account that Quinn Insurance was probably taken illegally from the Quinn family.

Does no public representative see what a catastrophe that this will turn out to be and is nobody advising the Taoiseach of this.

When does common sense come into play here-when agents of the State have blown it all? And they say that Sean Quinn gambled. What a joke! Who is gambling now with our money and our children's futures?
