MORE WASTE - WHEN WILL IT END?
More reports about waste at the Quinn Group, but who is surprised at that at this stage?
This time it's roof-tile pallets, most of them brand new and unused. Now, this is worrying on two counts; the first is that there is such a need to raise cash, that they are selling the very items that they need in order to run the business. (These pallets are needed to store and move roof-tiles). Obviously the plunderers are going to leave no stone unturned in their quest to extract as much cash as they can from the business, before its carcass is left to rot when they are finished.
A more worrying implication for the workers and the local community is that they are unlikely to be selling items that they believe that they will need again. What does this mean for the roof-tile business? Does the sale of these pallets signify that the end is nigh for the Rooftile Factory??
