Roscommon South Leitrim Deputy Frank Feighan says if plans for such an investigation dont interfere with the ongloing legal battle between the Quinns and IBRC, he would be fully behind call for a public inquiry.

Can anyone trust Mr Feighan. I remember him in the Kilmore Hotel saying Fine Gael would sort it out. Big promises and never forget Roscommon Hospital. Must be near election time again.

Frank Feighan better not make fools of us again.
Yes, he jumped on the floor of Hotel Kilmore in Jan 2011 and said Fine gael backs the Quin Proposasl Full stop. He also promised in Ballinamore public meeting in March 2011 that nothing would be done until the Quinn Proposal was given proper consideration and that he would set up a meeting between Quinn representatives. Two weeks later Anglo pounced on the Quinn Group WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE CABINET.
