CIC WILL CONTINUE TO NAME AND SHAME THOSE WHO ARE FACILITATING AND CONDONING THE DISGRACEFUL CONDUCT AND GROSS MISMANAGEMENT OF THE QUINN GROUP.

ARLENE FOSTER TOPS THE LIST OF POLITICIANS WHO FITS INTO THIS CATEGORY AND THE SILENCE
OTHERS WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS (for now) IS DEAFENING.
MEANWHILE WE AWAIT THE DECISION OF THE MANAGERS NAMED IN THIS ARTICLE. WILL THEY HAVE INTEGRITY AND ACT APPROPRIATELY OR WILL THEY CONTINUE TO BOW TO KING KONG? QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CONDUCT OF THE HEAD OF HR HAVE ALSO BEEN RAISED.
LETS HOPE THAT THEY ALL HAVE HAD TIME TO REFLECT OVER THE HOLIDAYS AND TO ACKNOWLEDGE WHICH SIDE THEIR BREAD WILL BE BUTTERED ON (or not) WHEN PAUL O'BRIEN BITES THE DUST.
EASTER WAS A TIME OF REFLECTION ABOUT BETRAYAL AND BETRAYERS BUT WE DON'T NEED EASTER TO REMIND US OF JUDAS AND HIS ILK IN THESE PARTS.
INCREASED SUPPORT FOR LOCAL OWNERSHIP (THOUGH NOT FROM ALL QUARTERS)

Isn’t it wonderful to see the Fermanagh/ South Tyrone politicians coming out in a united group to ask for the suspension of piecemeal sale of Quinn/ Aventas assets? This follows closely on the unanimous support by Leitrim County Council last week and the continued support of Cavan and Monaghan. The increased urgency that the businesses be managed locally is very heartening for the majority of people in the border counties.

However there is continued dissatisfaction with the deafening silence by some of the managers, promoted by Sean Quinn and still in positions of responsibility. Why aren't Adrian Curry and Noel McGovern coming out and demanding that Glass is returned to a local consortium? They know better than anyone else that production has fallen, that workers are less contented in the strained atmosphere in the factory and that a fear of closure or a takeover by the current CEO is alarming for the staff.

John Mc Nally, Barry King, Kieran Leonard and some others who were there with the former managers should be men enough to stand up to O Brien and his lieutenants and tell them that enough destruction has been done. Instead they kow tow to their dear leader.

It is time to reinstate the old management team that was there in Sean Quinn’s time and let them get back to running the businesses profitably.

The main obstacle to the return of local management is Paul O Brien, who seems to be intent on selling to his mates in spite of politicians and people on all sides. He hasn’t been very successful with the demise of CEVA and Lagan proposals and no company of repute will come into an area where they are clearly unwelcome.
And REMEMBER the day he is ousted he will not consider those who continue to support him. He will walk off with his millions and leave his lapdogs licking their paws!!
