Tonight with Vincent Browne on Thurs. night is a must watch (see it on TV3 player). So many of the people involved in the Siteserv arranged bidding process were one and the same who tried to finish off Quinn: Kieran Wallace, Robert Dix, Mike Aynsley, Richard Woodhouse, Alan Dukes
The list goes on and on. We also heard about how higher bidders were prevented from bidding in Siteserv (lest we ever forget, the Quinn family were PREVENTED from bidding for Quinn Insurance. Well they did bid but their bid was thrown in the bin, just like the 97,000 signatures from people in the Border Region, even though the Quinn family too were prepared to pay a much higher price and offer a much superior return for the taxpayer. Let’s face it: that would not be hard as Liberty got it for one euro. We heard on the programme about "conflicts of interest". Boy, could we give them a list of "conflicts of interest" in relation to those who were central to the witch-hunt against the Quinn family.
The hard evidence of gross misconduct, misappropriation of taxpayer’s money and slander by State agencies against Quinn is there in black and white. We have the evidence. There would be no need for a hard fought battle to obtain pertinent evidential material under FOI as Catherine Murphy had to employ in the Siteserv issue.
YET NOT ONE PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVE HAS EVEN RAISED THIS ISSUE IN THE DAIL.
The biggest irony in all of this is that the Dept of Finance, or the Government (depending on who you believe) now wont engage in settlement talks with the Quinn’s, which would have the potential to save the taxpayers massive sums of money, because of the Siteserv controversy.
Folks, there is one big difference. Sean Quinn was the victim in all of this and he and his family were blocked at every turn from saving money for the taxpayers and saving thousands of jobs. For God's sake, they were even prevented from paying the State 2.8 billion euro. You couldn't make it up.
Do these so called decision makers think that we are complete fools and how will they explain if the company that was gifted Quinn Insurance leaves the workers high and dry? Paul O'Brien made an utter laughing stock of Michael Noonan by laughing at the fact that anyone ever believed that the IBRC strategy on Quinn was ever going to deliver anything other than ZERO.
AND TO THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED RALLIES IN BALLYCONNELL WERE CALLED GOMBEENS! OH, THE IRONY.......................................................
