The first steps have been taken to rebrand a set of companies once owned by former billionaire Sean Quinn.
It’s just over a year since the Quinn Group was renamed as Aventas Group, and following the completion of a takeover deal by local consortium QBRC, the business will now feature the Quinn name once again.
After a lengthy takeover bid, Quinn Business Retention Company (QBRC) has acquired the packaging and construction industry supplies parts of the business and will be financed by three of the institutions that control Aventas.
Liam McCaffrey, former Quinn Group chief executive, will lead the two businesses.
QBRC director and Leitrim Councillor John McCartin says the Quinn name is on its way back to the border region.
