I want to inform you of a change in our Group name which will be made public in the next few days. I want to ensure that you are informed first.

On the change of ownership almost three years ago it was decided not to change the Group name at that point. After much research and consideration we have now decided that the time has come to rebrand the Group with a new name and logo.

We have chosen the name, Aventas Group. While respecting the achievements and heritage of the past our new Group name puts emphasis on looking to the future.

The new logo focuses on the letter ‘A’ folded in different directions to denote the Group’s versatility and adaptability.

This is a change of name at Group level only at this time. Currently, with the exception of Polycasa, there is no change at the individual business level. Each business will continue to trade under their existing brand and product name, e.g. Quinn Cement continues as Quinn Cement. However, we do intend to change all of the brands over time and this will be carried out in a planned way. 

Whilst our Group brand name and logo is changing it is very much business as usual as we continue to deliver quality products and services to our customers.

Finally, in the face of the most dramatic business downturn ever experienced in the sectors in which we predominantly operate, I want to acknowledge and thank each and every one of you for the efforts you have made and are continuing to make, to ensure that our businesses have a solid base from which to grow. Your energy and commitment enable my management team and I to look forward to the future with confidence and determination.
