Staff at Quinn Packaging in Ballyconnell are becoming very fearful for their jobs as sales for June are the worst they have had since the new management took over three years ago.
The loss of sales appears to have been caused by quality problems, originating in the Silage Wrap business, where sales at this time of the year would normally be steady. The Silage Wrap business had huge quality problems last year, resulting in Quinn Packaging been unable to sell their stock. Now all of their customers have refused to take their products this year and it appears that the rest of the business has had major problems attracting customers for the various packaging products produced in Ballyconnell.
We think it is important that management issue a statement, on the decline of sales and quality problems, as these issues may affect the future of the Quinn Packaging employees.

With working in another part of the quinn group, I hear that if the packaging sales director would put in the same effort to selling silage wrap as he does to trying to sell quinn packagong for a cut, then Quinn Packaging might not find itself in the shit that it finds itself in.
